The Homewood Mini Slopestyle is an annual tradition, and this Saturday’s 3rd Annual Homewood Mini Slopestyle was a hit among kids and parents alike.

The talent pool was deeper than Lake Tahoe: kids 12 and under showed us their style, skill, and their ability to shed inhabitions with unfettered abandon as they navigated the jumps and boxes of Homewood’s mini terrain park. Kids caught LOTS of air – some measured in feet; others in inches; all with a huge measure of fun.

We’ve gone all out with our parks this year, adding to the massive, innovative features of Kolby’s Escape, the accessible Lake View, and now the most scenic park ever: Super Lake View.

Kids who were skiing and riding at Homewood today were not only shredding the one to two feet of fresh powder; they were rippin’ it UP in the 2nd Annual Homewood Mini Slopestyle contest! Homewood’s park crew pushed together a triple jump line sized just right for groms to show off their tricks in the terrain park at the top of Madden Chair. Check ‘em out!

Homewood Mini Slopestyle Contest

The Homewood Mountain Resort Tearrain Park is now open!  Shredwood Forest is  offering a plethora of features, skiers and riders of all ages were tearing it up this weekend.  Preston and his park crew have been working their tails off building new features and getting the smooth transitions of rail to jump dialed!  Check out the list of features:
